American Civil War

The American Civil War took place across the continental United States from 1861 to 1865. The war began when eleven Southern states seceded from the Union to form the Confederate States of America in protest of the emancipation of slaves. The division of the states led to a wide range of weaponry, uniforms, and currency that are now items for collectors.
