Madonna Memorabilia

An aspiring dancer in her youth, Madonna’s ambitions for music and stage time led her to a long career in entertainment—as a singer, songwriter, actress, author, and film producer. Universally called the “Queen of Pop,” Madonna transformed the ‘80s music scene, and maybe even the course of pop music.

Madonna’s music career began in New York City, after she quit college at the University of Michigan. She signed on with Sire Records and in 1982 released her first hit single, “Everybody,” followed by her first self-titled album in 1983. Her next album, “Like a Virgin” was her first album to reach number one on the music charts, and is considered to be one of the best-selling albums of all time. Many successful studio albums followed, and in 2008, Madonna was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Collectors seeking Madonna memorabilia will find a variety of merchandise readily on the market, such as vinyl, clothing, posters, and ticket stubs. Scarcer memorabilia includes autographed items, movie props and stage-worn clothing. With a career still evolving, Madonna will surely bring years of memorabilia to the collector’s world.
