Known as one of the top-selling music artists of all time, the "King of Rock and Roll” has passed many performers in memorabilia sales—even years after his death. In all, Elvis Presley has sold over a billion albums, and his Graceland estate continues to attract hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.

A talented singer and actor, Elvis Presley had 18 songs reach number one on the U.S. Billboard chart. He also won three Grammy Awards, and was nominated for a total of 14. Presley made 31 movies in all, with a number of popular albums originating from them. He held over 1,000 concert performances over his career, and often performed in Las Vegas. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame made him one of its first inductees, and later, he was added to the Gospel Hall of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Presley produced most of his music and films during the 1950s and 1960s, and items made during these time periods are said to hold the most value. Later Elvis Presley memorabilia is considered collectible, but may not hold comparable resale value.
