      Weiblicher Akt Öl auf Holzplatte. 45 x 70 cm. Verso ein weiteres Gemälde von Hella Jacobs: Stillleben, dort unten links mit Pinsel in Hellgrau signiert "Jacobs". Die Malerin, Graphikerin und Illustratorin Hella Jacobs studierte an der Kunstgewerbeschule in Hamburg und zählte zur künstlerischen Avantgarde der Vorkriegsjahre. Sie beschäftigt sich hauptsächlich mit dem Menschen als Thema in ihren Werken. Als "entartet" bezeichnet wurde ihre künstlerische Laufbahn unterbrochen und ihr gelang es nicht mehr, nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg als Malerin Fuß zu fassen.
