    Lumber storage (aerial view). 1967. Vintage ferrotyped gelatin silver print. 20 x 29 cm. Signed, dated and annotated by the photographer in pencil and photographer's agency stamp on the verso. Albrecht Brugger is one of the most prolific and well-known European aerial photographers. In 1954 he received his aviation license and as of 1962 he worked with a self-constructed aerial camera which allowed him to make exceptionally precise shots from a long distance. His photos have illustrated many books, were shown in several exhibitions and in 1961 the MoMA in New York purchased one of his photographs. - A few light indentation marks and surface pitting, light crease in lower left corner, otherwise in near excellent condition.
