Signed, dated and editioned 2/6 by the photographer in pencil on the verso. Albrecht Brugger is one of the most prolific and well-known European aerial photographers. In 1954 he received his aerial license and as of 1962 he worked with a self-constructed aerial camera which allowed him to make exceptionally precise shots from a long distance. His photos have illustrated many books, were shown in several exhibitions and in 1961 the MoMA in New York purchased one of his photographs. - Slight indentation of signature from verso visible only in raking light, otherwise in excellent condition.
