Marlin Shotguns

The Marlin firearms company may be best known for their lever-action rifles, but they have produced a wide variety of shotguns throughout time. These shotguns range in design and caliber and can be found in bolt actions, single shots, lever actions, pump actions, and over-and-under shotguns.

Marlin calibers vary from 12 gauge, 10 gauge, 20 gauge, .410 bore, 28 gauge, and 16 gauge. The Marlin catalog of shotguns is quite expansive.

Marlin no longer produces shotguns, but due to the massive amount of production, they are still quite common. The Model 55 is a bolt-action shotgun and was among the most popular Marlin designs. A variety of submodels were produced including single shots, slug guns, and specific goose-gun models. Another popular variant was the Model 410 lever-action shotgun, which utilized a tube-fed magazine. Marlin shotguns are considered working weapons and are at home in the field, hunting, or sport shooting.
