The book features text from "Ab Urbe Condita Libri" or "History of Rome" by Livy (Roman, 59 BCE to 17 CE) and "Virgilius orator an poeta" or "Epitome of Roman History" by Lucius Annaeus Florus (Roman, ca. 74 to 130 CE) translated to German from Latin by Zacharius Muntzer (German, 1530 to 1586).
