            Typical, slightly curved single-edged blade of medium grey wild Damascus steel with separately forged edge and deeply incised, gold inlaid smith mark "Ali". The forte with rich floral engravings applied in silver. Also engraved silver grip strap with riveted grip panels of medium brown/reddish agate studded with sapphires. Three-piece wooden scabbard with silver mounts embossed with ornaments and flowers, pierced chape. Both silver mounts stamped twice "Fadjra sana 1183". The red velvet cover in the middle of the scabbard slightly damaged. Length 77 cm. Cf. Niels Arthur Andersen, Gold and Corals, 2014, p. 124 - 125. Condition: II
