Lunt Silver

Lunt is an well-known American maker of silver products celebrated for its high degree of quality. George C. Lunt, formerly an engraver for the acclaimed silversmith shop A.F. Towle & Son, bought the company and renamed it Rogers, Lunt, and Bowlen Co. Located in Greenfield, Massachusetts at the heart of early American silversmithing the company would become a celebrated domestic producer of flatware, hollowware, and giftware for generations to come.

In 1935, the company shortened its name to Lunt Silversmiths. The company remained in Lunt family hands until 2009, making it the oldest continuously operating family-owned silver company in the United States at the time.

Lunt Silversmiths, though no longer privately owned, continues to thrive today, manufacturing top-quality silver objects with an eye to the past. Their signature pieces include a line of tea sets painstakingly reproduced from the original Paul Revere works found in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
