Ercuis Flatware

Established in 1867 by Adrien Celeste Pilon with the intention of specializing in artistic silverware, plating, gilding, and wire drawing, Ercuis is now one of the world’s most renowned producers of silver flatware. Ercuis flatware pieces are prized by collectors for their stately beauty and elegance.

Ercuis was nearly an instant success, and Pillon quickly saw the need to expand the scope of his operations in order to meet the growing demand for his product. By 1880, the former small town priest had opened a boutique in Paris to sell his revered flatware, and by the beginning of the 20th century, he was supplying the most prestigious hotels on the Basque coast and Riveria.

In 1978, Ercuis was invited to join the Comité Colbert, an exclusive group of French luxury brands. This association affirmed its position among France’s most prestigious brands as well as the world’s most distinguished flatware producers.
