Con-Cor HO Scale Model Railroads & Trains

Con-Cor began as a part time business in Illinois in 1962. Founded by Jim Conway, the company’s earliest products were HO scale freight car kits made of wood and metal. Con-Cor currently offers more than 2,000 model railroad products in both HO and N scales. Their N scale line is one of the largest in the United States.

Con-Cor’s product line continues to consist of kits as well as ready-to-run locomotives and cars. Con-Cor also offers structure kits in HO and N scales, as well as a line of HO scale vehicles. Con-Cor manufactures products in small batches that are based on orders. They post a time table for release of all new products on their website for the convenience of hobbyists.

Con-Cor moved from their Illinois factory to Tucson, Arizona in 1999. Jim Conway continues to operate the business. He was awarded the National Model Railroad Association’s Industry Pioneer Award in 2008 and was inducted into the Model Railroad Industry Hall of Fame in 2010.
