Description

KANDO, Ata (Hungarian, Dutch 1913). Yąnomamö woman weaving a basket, 1965. Gelatin silver print, with the photograph's stamp partly hidden behind copyright label '...Copyright 1987 Ata Kando...' (on the reverse), inscribed 'Indians Yanomamö Terr. Fed. Amazonas 1965' (on the label) and '620-9' (on the reverse). Minor surface grime and unretouched hair line, else good.
