Condition:
The color photograph is in overall very good condition with only very occasional faint handling creases and barely visible fine scratches. The sheet-sized image measures 76 x 203 cm.

Walter Martin (b. 1953) & Paloma Muñoz (b. 1965)
Walter Martin (b. in 1951 in Norfolk, Virginia) and Paloma Muñoz (b. in 1965 in Madrid) haven been working together as an artist couple since 1994. They are probably best known for photographs and sculptures, depicting surreal landscape dioramas that serve as a venue for absurd-bizarre scenes. In the end their model characters form a microcosm, which seems to illuminate existential issues and human relationships. Martin & Muñoz are regularly presented in solo and group exhibitions and give lectures at institutions such as the Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum and Princeton University. Works by Martin & Muñoz are part of private and public collections in Europe and the USA and can be found in museums such as the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid, the Museum of Art and Design in New York and the Walker Art Center discover for the Arts in Minneapolis.
