"Hamburger Zoo". 1963. Unique vintage gelatin silver print. 39 x 29,5 cm. Mounted to board (corners slightly bumped), signed, titled and dated by the photographer in ink below the image on the mount; annotated and signed by the photographer in ink on the verso.
Walter Vogel, who studied under Otto Steinert, presented this print for the freely chosen topic segment of the photography class, making it a unique artefact of that time. - A few light surface scratches, otherwise a rich tonal print in near excellent condition.
