More than one-hundred years have passed since the publication of this poster and it's interesting to note which stories intersect with our contemporary lives (a lead feature focusing on Islamic fundraising, another that explores a fascination with Tibetan traditions and one that reveals that finding a trendy holiday gift isn't a modern-day obsession) and which ones diverge (Nicaragua being seen as a "Model of Prosperity, Peace and Progression," the effects of "Irish Agitation" and an apparent obsession with ring wearing).
