Photographer's copyright stamp address 70000 Stuttgart and annotated in ink/pencil on the verso. Wolf Strache considered this iconic image taken during WWII his best work and it has become a symbol of that time. The original negative was confiscated shortly after its production and Strache made another negative in the 1970s with which he made later prints. - One retouched spot in upper left, some buckling, otherwise in good condition.
