Description

The artist Joseph Beuys (1921 - 1986); Arnold Bode, the founder of the documenta, Kassel (1900 - 1977). 1972. 2 vintage gelatin silver prints. 36,5 x 27 cm (40,5 x 30,5 cm) and 33,8 x 21,5 cm (40,5 x 30,5 cm). Both annotated and with photographer's stamp on the verso.
These photographs were made as part of a documenta project created by Renate Heyne, Floris Neusüss and Wolfgang Pfaffe. During the documenta V life-size portraits of visitors and members of the documenta team were shown in a pedestrian underpass in Kassel. - Beuys print with a few minimal handling crease marks, otherwise fine tonal prints in very good condition.
