A rare, noble medaillon 'Portrait of a Lady' with pearl and diamond setting
Mid 19th cent. 14 ct. yellow gold. Tempera/ivory, 4,2 x 3,5 cm, l. sign. a. dat. M. Albanesi 1655, under glass framed. The reverse side fine guilloché enamel in blue with crowned monogram 'RR', with rose cut diam. (1 diam. missing). The frame and the necklace with 30 small pearls. Medaillon with eyelet 59 x 45 mm, necklace in 18 ct. roségold added. L. 43 cm, weight c. 20 g. - Italian miniature painter. A. worked in Milan a.
