An interior designer and posterist of the Constructivist school, Nathan-Garamond prepared posters for several of the Home Design exhibitions at the Grand Palais in Paris during the 1930s. He often used a symbolic tool-here, a central oversized trowel-shaped shadow-as his theme for these expos focused on architecture and furnishings. A most effective design.
