Description

"Brückenbogen" (Bridge Arch); "Prague in Winter". 1938/1928/printed 1970s. 2 gelatin silver prints. 29 x 24 cm and 23,3 x 28,5 cm. Both signed, titled and dated by the photographer in ink on the verso.
Extreme and dynamic camera angles are typical of Lauschmann's film-like photography. In this image he isolated a section of a bridge, photographing it from a very dynamic angle. - Some flecks in the negative in bridge print, Prague print with light handling crease, otherwise in very good condition.
