Chen Deng
Style name Yuanlong, was a strategist during the late Han Dynasty era of Chinese history. Chen Deng was loyal, upright, and honesty, deep in character and Possessing great ideas, and since his youth he aspired to uphold the realm and save the people.
Han Xian (died 197) was the leader of the White Wave Bandits during the late Han Dynasty period of Chinese history. He was a close friend of cavalry commander Yang Feng. When Li Jue and Guo Si held Emperor Xian of Han hostage, Yang wanted to defeat the rebels however his forces were too weak to hold up against them. Han was then recruited by Yang along with two other generals of the White Wave Bandits, Hu Cai and Li Yue. Together with the forces of Cao Cao, Guo and Li were finally defeated however Yang and Han felt that Cao was overly ambitious and conflicts would arise, so it was better if they left the capital. They then joined Yuan Shu's army. He served Yuan Shu for some time. After Lü Bu captured and killed Yuan Shu's agent Han Yin after discovering Yuan was trying to take Lü's daughter hostage, the enraged Yuan Shu led an army of 200,000 men to attack the city of Xiapi in Xu Province. Han and Yang served as rear generals. But with the help from Chen Gui, Lü Bu's advisor who was a mole working for Cao Cao, Han Xian was told that Yuan Shu was a rebel trying to take over power from the emperor. With his Sixth Battalion, he wrought havoc on Yuan Shu's camp along with Yang and managed to give Lü Bu enough time to intercept Yuan Shu's camp, forcing Yuan to retreat. After Yuan's defeat he and Yang were promoted by Lü, however his bandit behaviour did not change. He and Yang were caught robbing civilians with their army and were executed by Liu Bei.

Katsushika TAITO II (formal name: Fujiwara Kondo), ukiyo-e painter, print artist and illustrator, was one of HOKUSAI's best pupils.
Active years from 1810 to 1853
Taito was a samurai of the Toyooka clan, who originally lived in Yamashita in Kozuke Province. He seems to have met Hokusai in Nagoya in the mid-1810s. He collaborated with him on the second volume of Hokusai manga, which was published there in 1815. He moved to Edo and took the name of Taito II in or after 1820, when Hokusai changed his name to Iitsu. From that date on, Taito's works are signed 'Katsushika Taito', or 'Genryusai Taito'. He is generally referred to as 'Taito II'. He had the closest working relationship with Hokusai among all the master's pupils. Taito is also called Inu Hokusai (Dog Hokusai) when people caught him forging his master's signature on one of his own designs.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms, written by Luo Guanzhong in the 14th century, is a historical novel based on the events in the turbulent years near the end of the Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms era of Chinese history, starting in 169 and ending with the reunification of the land in 280. The story (part historical, part fiction) chronicles the lives of feudal lords and their retainers, who tried to replace the dwindling Han Dynasty or restore it. While the novel actually follows literally hundreds of characters, the focus is mainly on the three power blocs that emerged from the remnants of the Han Dynasty, and would eventually form the three states of Wei, Shu, and Wu. The novel deals with the plots, personal and army battles, intrigues, and struggles of these states to achieve dominance for almost 100 years. This novel also gives readers a sense of how the Chinese view their history in a cyclical lense. The famous opening lines of the novel summarize this view: It is a general truism of this world that anything long divided will surely unite, and anything long united will surely divide

Chen Deng Stilname Yuanlong , war ein Stratege während der späten Han Dynastie der chinesischen Geschichte.
Chen Deng war loyal, aufrichtig, besaß einen tiefen Charakter und großartige Ideen und strebte seit seiner Jugend am das Reich zu erhalten und die Menschen zu schätzen.
Han Xian (died 197) war der Anführer der Banditen der "Weissen Welle" während der späten Han Dynastie. Er war ein enger Freund von Kavallerie Kommandant Yanf Feng. Als Li Jue und Guo Si Kaiser Xian von Han als Geisel hielten, wollte Yang die Rebellen besiegen, allerdings scheiterte er weil seine Truppen unterlegen waren. Danach wurde Yang mit 2 weiteren Generälen der Weissen Welle, Hu Cai und Li Yue. Zusammen mit den Truppen Cao Caos, wurden Guo und Li endgültig besiegt. Jedoch fanden Yang und Han, dass Cao Cao ein wenig zu ambitioniert war und dass daraus Konflikte entstehen würden, also verliessen sie die Hauptstadt und schlossen sich später Yuan Shus Armee an. Nachdem Lü Bu Yuan Shus Agenten Han Yin gefangen und getötet hatte, als er erfuhr, dass Yuan versuchte Lüs Tochter zu entführen, führte der erzürnte Yuan Shu eine Armee von 200000 Mann an um die Stadt Xiapi in der Xu Provinz einzunehmen. Yang und Han dienten als hintere Generäle. Aber, mit der Hilfe von Chen Gui, Lü Bus Berater, der auch ein Spion für Cao Cao war, wurde Han Xian mitgeteilt, dass Yuan Shu ein Rebell sei der versucht den Kaiser zu stürzen. Mit seinem 6. Battalion richtete er, zusammen mit Yang, Verwüstung in Yuan Shus Lager an und gaben Lü Bu dadurch genug Zeit um Yuan abzufangen. Nachdem Yuan besiegt war wurden Han und Yang von Lü Bu befördert. Die Verhaltensweisen aus ihren Banditenzeiten legten sie aber nicht ab. Han und Yang wurden dabei erwischt, wie sie Zivilisten mit ihren Armeen ausraubten und wurden vin Liu Bei exekutiert.

Katsushika Taito II
(formaler Name: Fujiwara Kondo) war ein ukiyo-e Künstler und Illustrator. Er war einer der engsten und besten Schüler von Katsushika Hokusai. Taito war ein Samurai des Toyooka Klans und lebte in Yamashita in der Provinz Kozuke. Es scheint, dass er Hokusai Mitte 1810 in Nagoya getroffen zu haben. Er kollaborierte mit Hokusai am zweiten Band des Hokusai Mangas, der in 1820 dort herausgegeben wurde.Etwa in 1820 zog er nach Edo und nahm den Namen Taito an, als Hokusai seinen Namen von Taito zu Itsu wechselte. Außerdem gibt die Geschichte dem Leser einen Sinn für die zyklische Betrachtungsweise der Chinesen für ihre Geschichte. Dies Anschauungsweise wird in den ersten Zeilen zusammengefasst: Es ist eine allgemeine Wahrheit dieser Welt, dass alles was für lange Zeit geteilt war sich mit Sicherheit wieder vereinigen wird und, dass alles was lange vereint war mit Sicherheit wieder aufgeteilt wird.

If, after a sale in which we did not collect the resale royalty on a particular lot, we become aware that information provided to us prior to the auction concerning an artist's nationality was incorrect and the artist is entitled to the resale royalty on the lot, the buyer shall pay the resale royalty to us upon receipt of an invoice.

Payment Instructions:
All goods must be paid within five working days after receiving the invoice. All winning bidders will be notified via email of their total payment amount and will be supplied with an invoice and payment options. We accept all major credit cards, cashier's checks, money orders, bank wires Bitcoin and PayPal. All unsold lots will be available for final sale for the starting bit up to four weeks after the auctions ending.

Any payments succeeding €15 000 in cash or cashiers check is obligated to provide a copy of identity of the buyer. This also applies if the buyer purchases several lots within the same auction. All cash payments have to be in Euro. All cheques needs to be cleared before collecting or shipping your purchases. Credit Card and PayPal fees, 3.5% and Bank fees go to the expense of the buyer and will not be paid by the Jahn Gallery. If the customer defaults on payment 7 days upon receiving of the invoice, printed or as email, we will charge the customer 14,3% interest.

Returns:
All sales are final. There are no cancellations, returns or refunds. Under certain circumstances, we may make an exception and allow a cancellation, return or approve a refund. However in the case of a return the Buyers´s Premium and Shipping Cost will not be refunded.
