Condition:
The painting is in a good condition according to age. The canvas has been laid to panel. The paint surface is slightly darkened and crackled. There is minor abrasion from framing along the margins. The inspection under UV light reveals scattered tiny strokes of retouching to the upper margin. There are most likely further touch-ups concealed by the varnish. The varnish has been renewed, and the frame is restored. The painting’s dimensions are 47.5 x 57 cm, while the frame measures 63 x 74 cm. (cko)
