Dussoix’ typographic paintings are full of contradictions and provocation; they show challenging and concise sentences, which he takes from pop culture, punk, film, television, street art and traditional African art. As well, the tension between two and three dimensionsionality play an important role in his works.

Condition:
The work is in very good condition, showing only the lightest framing marks.

Hadrien Dussoix (b. 1975)
Born in Geneva, Hadrien Dussoix studied at the local École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués / Communication Visuelle and at the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. Since 2002, he has been exhibiting his work internationally. From 2006 to 2008, he won the prestigious ‘Swiss Art Award’ for young artists three times. He lives and works in Geneva. (cko)
