Expressive bronze figurine of a boy with sleeves and pant legs rolled up, carrying two baskets from his shoulders and calling out with one hand raised to the mouth.

Condition:
The figure is in very good condition according to age. The bust measures 29 cm in height and the height of the marble base amounts to 9 cm.

Franz Rosse (1858-1900)
The Berlin artist Franz Rosse studied sculpture in Hanau, followed by further artistic training at the Akademie der Künste in Berlin. Besides numerous decorative bronze figurines, he also created monumental sculptures, including the monument of Wilhelm I in Rathenow. (cbo)
