Régina Badet au Theatre Antoine.
Régina Badet (1879-1949) was a ballerina and stage and screen actress. She made her debut at the Grand-Théatre in Bordeaux, her home town, at the tender age of ten. In 1905, she appeared for the first time in Paris in the ballet 'Lakme' by Delibes at the Opéra Comique. She gained further recognition for her spirited performance of the part of Conchita Perez in 'La Femme et le pantin' in 1910, the performance being advertised in this unbridled design by Morerod, an artist who studied with Steinlen (another Swiss expatriate) in Paris.
