Mounted to gilt-edged album boards (time-stained in edges) and bound in contemporary red full morrocan album (a few spots) with gilt-tooled ornamentation along inside cover, marble end papers, contemporary exlibris label inside front cover.A fine album with an exquisite collection of richly hand-colored views of St. Basil's Cathedral near the Kremlin, Ivan the Great Bell Tower with Resurrection Church, a bird's eye view over the Moscow River, interiors of the Terem Palace showing the rich ornamenation on the staircase as well as the "Golden Room" (Throne Room) and the Czar's bedroom as well as a fine panoramic view of the famous Novodevichy convent, also known as Bogoroditse-Smolensky monastery, near Moscow during a festivity. - A few with small light spots, otherwise in very good condition.
