Do you think it's mere coincidence that this aviation loving damsel's frock matches the golden hue of her favorite tipple? Or that she drinks Aviatina simply because it's "Digestive" and "Fortifying?" OR that she knew exactly how to galvanize the attention of the pilot who appears prepared to make an emergency balcony landing in his Antoinette in order to get his hands on the woman, her cordial glass or both? No, we don't think so either. However, Damare knows how to create a memorable scene, one filled with sly humor and exaggeration that still manages to place the product being promoted in the fore. No biographical data for the artist is available, yet he (or she) worked for the Folies-Bergere, the Olympia and other top music halls for years, always coming up with humorous, attention-getting designs of this sort.
