Description

SCHERER, Kees (Dutch 1920 - 1993). Betting on horses in Paris, c. 1956. Vintage gelatin silver print on baryta paper, with photographer's stamp 'foto kees scherer kloveniersburgwal 41 amsterdam holland tel. 49839' and various inscriptions in pencil (on the reverse, visible through a peep hole at the back of the frame), numbered '1/2', marked '052' and '000244' (on the reverse); framed under passe-partout behind glass. Light unobtrusive crease in the centre, else good. With a signed certificate of authenticity issued by Vintage Photo Naarden.
