Lot 4012: Altobelli, Gioacchino: Views of Rome

Views of Rome. 1860s/1870s. 7 albumen prints. 18 x 25,5 cm and 24 x 19 cm. Some with number in the negative in lower corners, each mounted to board, 2 with photographer's stamp below the image on the mount.
The views show the Piazza di S. Maria Maggiore (with Altobelli's stamp), the Arch of Constantine, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Forum of Trajan and Trajan Column and the Florence Cathedral by Alinari. - Some light surface scratches, one faded (Alinari), otherwise in very good condition.
