Januar.' and 'Feuers-Leute'. Framed behind glass, unopened. - Bird's-eye views of the capital Edo are relatively rare. The present motif is a very detailled depiction of different fire brigades within the city. See another example in the coll. of the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, Oregon (inv. no. L2013:15.08a-c).
