孫克弘（細部）—梵谷 Sun Kehong (Detail) - Van Gogh NPM 簽名年代畫背：Zhang Hongtu 2003 Signed reverse Zhang Hongtu and dated 2003 張宏圖繪畫的特點是在中國傳統山水畫裡運用印象派和後印象派的手法，在運用西畫畫法的同時又妥適地保留中國傳統山水畫的構圖及其遼闊視野。作品反映張宏圖異鄉人心情，創作主題大都玩味「東方對西方」、「精緻對通俗」、「偶像對凡夫」的二分法，取塞尚、梵谷的筆法臨摹中國山水的巨作，作品一貫呈現了張宏圖顛覆的玩世態度。本次拍品《孫克弘（細部）—梵谷》以梵谷強烈動感的短直線筆觸重現孫克弘清雅脫俗的《銷閒清課圖—月上卷》，為2004年大未來畫廊《與台北故宮私對話：張宏圖個展》圖錄的封面作品，小幅草圖已為高雄市立美術館典藏，其重要性可見一斑。接受東西方藝術教育的張宏圖認為，中西文化的結合已經成為一種現象，而他的畫正是「根據中國畫，通過仿畫用新的技術創造出自己的東西」，他的繪畫大膽跳脫了傳統中西方的美學，以客觀的角度提供觀者一種全新的視覺體驗。張宏圖曾於美國、台灣等地舉辦個展。曾獲1991-1992年紐約波洛克．魁阿斯那基金會繪畫大獎、1995-1996年美國國家藝術基金會視覺藝術家獎等獎項。作品受北京中國美術館、廣東美術館、紐約布朗克斯美術館、普林斯頓大學藝術博物館、紐約彼得·諾頓藝術基金會、阿布達比古根漢美術館與倫敦薩奇美術館等機構收藏。 Zhang Hongtu's distinctive style of painting involves the use of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist techniques within the traditional Chinese landscape painting. He combines Western painting methods while retaining the traditional Chinese landscape painting's composition and its expansive perspective skillfully. His artworks reflect the feelings of a foreigner, and the themes of his creations often play with the dichotomy of "East versus West," "refinement versus populism," and "idols versus ordinary people." He emulates the brushwork of Cézanne and Van Gogh in his renditions of Chinese landscapes, consistently presenting Zhang Hongtu's subversive attitude towards the world. Lot 028 " Sun Kehong (Detail) - Van Gogh NPM'' captures the intense dynamism of Van Gogh's short, straight brush strokes in Sun Kehong's elegant and refined "Delectations for leisure hours-Yueshang (Rising moon)" It served as the cover artwork for the 2004 Lin & Lin Gallery catalog "Dialogue with the Taipei Palace Museum: Zhang Hongtu Solo Exhibition." A small-scale sketch of this work is already in the collection of the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, highlighting its significance. Zhang Hongtu, who received education in both Eastern and Western art, believes that the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures has become a phenomenon. He sees his art as "based on Chinese painting, using new techniques to create his own blend of East and West." His paintings boldly break away from the traditional aesthetics of both Eastern and Western art and offer viewers a fresh and objective perspective, providing a completely new visual experience. Zhang Hongtu has held solo exhibitions in the United States, Taiwan, and other places. He has received awards such as the 1991-1992 Pollock Prize in New York and the 1995-1996 National Endowment for the Arts Visual Artist Award in the United States. His works are included in the collections of institutions like the National Art Museum in Beijing, Guangdong Museum of Art, Bronx Museum of the Arts in New York, Princeton University Art Museum, the Peter Norton Family Foundation in New York, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, and Saatchi Gallery in London.
