Double foreedge painting: One foreedge painting has Norham Castle, with a country lane and several buildings in the foreground. In the other direction, the foreedge shows Stirling Bridge. 8vo. Full navy blue leather. Short tear to inner edge of ffep, wear to edges of covers and spine crown. Binding, text, and foreedge paintings very good. Modern blue cloth slipcase has moderate wear to corners.

          and/or His Father Miles Walter (1774- 1849) Black Ball Line, Europe Oil on canvas 27 x 40 inches In 1816 Captain Charles H. Marshall founded the Black Ball Line the first scheduled transatlantic passenger service, employing a fleet of clipper ships, one of which was commanded by the founder's brother, Captain Alexander Marshall. The service operated for over 60 years between New York and Liverpool flying the house flag, which consisted of a black ball centered on a red background. "In this painting, the Liverpool bound American Black Ball packet Europe, under reduced sale 'hove to' off Point Lynas, Anglesea, North Wales, with a Liverpool Bay Pilot sloop astern having sent it's punt alongside "Europe" conveying the duty pilot" for the preceding information we thank Marine specialist Charles Russell Twist. .           Attributed to Chokha, Devgarh, dated 1811 Opaque watercolor and gold on paper: clasping a sword with both hands in relax pose, the portly ruler is dressed in a plain green jama secured by a white sash that supports a jewel encrusted dagger. His face is a well-define portrait with a long rounded nose, neat slightly curled mustache and sleepy red-tinged eye. His adornment is limited to a double-pearl earring and pearl choker supporting a modest ruby pendant. Set slight to the left of center on the ruled margin against a foggy light gray background rising to a faint ridge line with gilt-lined pastel clouds above. 9 x 6 1/2 in. (22.8 x 16.5 cm.); 10 1/4 x 7 3/4 in. (26 x 19.7 cm.) )

Disney", and signed "Walt Disney" two additional times, a check drawn on his account at the Bank of America, Burbank, Apr. 22, 1952 making a $300.00 withdrawal from "Walt Disney Special Account" (in Disney's hand), and endorsed on verso "For deposit - Walt Disney Special Acct.". Signature in payee line bears light embossing, signature on bottom is large and bold, signature on verso very good. Overall fine condition.
