      Pierre Noël VIOLET (1749-1819). Portrait de Mme Pulham sur fond de paysage, 1811. Aquarelle signée et datée en bas à droite. Conservée dans un cadre de l'époque en bois doré avec applications de cordons textiles (manques). Miniaturiste et aquafortiste, peintre à la cour de France, Pierre-Noël Violet émigra quand éclata la Révolution et se fixa en Angleterre Il exposa à la Royal Academy de 1790 à sa mort. Le musée Victoria & Albert de Londres possède de lui Portrait de la femme de l'artiste? Et le Musée du Louvre une tabtière ornée d'un portrait du roi Louis XVI.
