Vidal and dated 1875 (lr) Graphite, black and blue chalk heightened with white on paper 13 1/2 x 9 7/8 inches Provenance: David & Constance Yates, New York Paper is slightly buckled under the frame. Scattered foxing, including a few 1/8'' spots around the woman's head and at the lower left corner. Toned with traces of mat burn. Minor wear along the bottom edge of the paper. Paper is adhered to the mat along the upper verso edge with two pieces of linen tape.
