        Est: €3,000 - €3,500

VENCESLAO WEHRLIN (Italy, 1746 (?) -1780). "Fox attacking". Oil on canvas. It has faults and a later frame. Signed in the lower right corner. Provenance: private collection conceived from the 70's between London and Madrid. Measurements: 63 x 92 cm. In this scene with animals the author is inspired by the painting of baroque tradition, although with a style typical of the 19th century. Stylistically, the emphasis of the drawing prevails, the brushstroke being inscribed within the precise contours. However, the colour acquires an intense plasticity. It is presented as a scene of live animals in full activity.

        Dec. 02, 2013

Venceslao Wehrlin (Torino 1746 (?) - Firenze 1780) "Costume di Nettuno"

        Est: €5,000 - €7,000

Venceslao Wehrlin (Torino 1746 (?)
