Die Folge von Rom-Ansichten mit Plätzen, Brunnen und Gärten sowie den Wasserspielen von Frascati und Tivoli, die in vier thematische Partien unterteilt ist. Die ausgesprochen genauen Darstellungen, die in einer präzisen, sich im 17. Jh. entwickelten Radiertechnik ausgeführt sind, tragen jeweils die Bildunterschriften und die entsprechenden Nummerierung der einzelnen Partien. Die ersten beiden Teile sowie vier Blatt des dritten Teils stammen von der Hand Faldas, die übrigen Blätter wurden von Giovanni Francesco Venturini ausgeführt; diese sind nicht im Bartsch verzeichnet. Die vier vorgelagerten Titelblätter und die allegorischen Frontispize mit den Zueignungen sind ebenfalls von anderen Künstlern beigesteuert worden. - Aufgrund des Sujets und der künstlerischen Umsetzung wurde die Folge zum bekanntestenWerk Faldas, da jedoch der vierte Teil mit den Gärten in Tivoli erst später ausgeführt wurde, kommt die hier vollständig vorliegende Folge mit allen vier Teilen nur selten vor. - Ganz ausgezeichnete, gegensatzreiche und klare Drucke, sämtlich mit den Nummern. Meist mit Rand, teils mit feinem Rändchen um die Plattenkante. Vereinzelt leicht stockfleckig, teils unauffällige Knick- und Falzspuren, da einzelne Darstellungen in den hinteren Teilen auf die Größe des Albums gebracht wurden, daher ein Blatt mit einem Randeinriss, weitere geringe Gebrauchsspuren, sonst schöne und original erhaltene Exemplare. Aus der Sammlung des Architekten Manfred Semper (nicht bei Lugt), vorne mit einer handschriftlichen Ex Libris in brauner Feder "Manfred Semper / Fräulein Lucia Fenuer / April 1912". Beigegeben von Giuseppe Tirburtino Vergelli , in das gleiche Album gebunden, die Brunnenveduten von den Plätzen des modernen Roms aus dem Jahre 1690. 30 Radierungen, zzgl. dem Titelblatt, in ganz ausgezeichneten und klaren Druck mit teils schmalem Rand.
