        Dated 1911 An album titled Edo Nishiki, Tsuki no Maki (Brocade of Edo, volume 'Moon'), traditionally bound, mounted with 20 prints by 9 Meiji period artists, including Mizuno Toshikata, Watanabe Seitei, Takeuchi Keishu and Suzuki Kason, depicting bijin, legendary figures and a bonito, each appears to be inspired by contemporary literature at the time, with 1 page of preface and 1 page of a table of contents listing the titles and names of the artists, published by Shunyodo, dated Meiji 44 (1911), the majority variously signed, some unsigned. Each print approx. 21cm x 29cm (8¼in x 11 3/8in).
