ZWEI KINDER AM FEUERHERD Öl auf Leinwand. 48,5 x 35,5 cm. Rechts oben signiert und ortsbzeichnet „Wien". Verso auf der Leinwand ovaler Malmittelherstellerstempel mit Bezeichnung der Stadt Düsseldorf. Im schweren, originalen, vergoldeten Rahmen. Inneres einer altbürgerlichen Küche, mit Bleiglasfenster links im Bild, das die Szene beleuchtet, rechts ein großer, offener Herd mit brennenden Holzscheiten und einem eisernen Dreifuß mit Deckel, den ein kleines Mädchen neugierig hebt. Daneben an der Kanten ecke ein Knabe mit einer Kappe, dem Schwesterchen zusehend, hält einen Schöpflöffel bereit. (861903)

KLEINES MÄDCHEN UND KNÄBLEIN AM WASSERTROG VOR DEM HAUS Öl auf Leinwand. 45,5 x 42 cm. Rechts oben signiert und ortsbezeichnet „Wien". Verso auf der Leinwand Herstellerstempel eines Düsseldorfer Malmittelherstellers. Das größere Schwesterchen mit blondem Haar und hochgebundenem Zopf lässt das Brüderchen aus einem Gefäß trinken, das sie soeben aus einem Holztrog geschöpft hat, der vor dem Bauernhaus steht.
