      Original cartoon art drawing of an older couple in their livingroom, in pen, ink, and gouache on paper,signed lower right and framed and matted with the caption, "Doesn't it give you a wonderful feeling of security to know that on the night of October 17, 1960, you and I will be sitting together in Row J, Seats 102 and 103, at the Mary Martin thing?" Possibly drawn for the New Yorker Magazine. Dimensions 18 1/4 by 21 1/4 inches.

Stevenson and Phyllis Carlson. Literature: A larger painting of Port Kent by Bullis in the collection of the Shelburne Museum is illustrated and discussed in "Paintings and Drawings at the Shelburne Museum" by Nancy C. Muller, p. 37, and two smaller versions of this setting are also mentioned.
