Large collection of miscellaneous color proofs for the New York Herald 's Sunday Supplements with some finished supplements, each about 490 x 380 mm. From 1896 to 1924, Alfred B. Hunt worked as a colorist on the art staff of the New York Sunday Herald . Among the artists and cartoonists Hunt worked with were Harrison Fisher, Arthur I. Keller, Winsor McCay, Thomas Nast, R. F. Outcault, W. A. Rogers and Dan Smith. Included are many of the Christmas supplements and a large number of the weekly "Fluffy Ruffles" pages written by Carolyn Wells and illustrated by Wallace Morgan.
