[1886]. 7 1/2 x 4 5/8 in. albumen photograph on 8 x 5 in. on boudoir style cardstock mount. Verso bears Fly's Gallery stamp along with ink inscription: "View of Renegades Leaving Fort Bowie For Florida." An exceedingly rare Image taken in late September 1886 depicting the transport of Geronimo and his band of Chiricahua Apaches in guarded wagons, en route to Florida where they were imprisoned. This lot is located in Cincinnati.

    Camillus Sidney Fly (American, 1849-1901) Lot of Two Images: General Crook's Camp and Scene in Geronimo's Camp Both identified (the former in an inscription, the latter with affixed text) on the reverse of the mount, both with artist's stamp or label on the reverse of the mount. Albumen prints, 5 1/4 x 8 1/2 in. (13.2 x 21.5 cm), matted in a common mat, unframed. Condition: Unobtrusive toning, wear to edges especially at corners. Provenance: From the collection of Austin Lamont, by family descent.
