Notes

Note: The photo was taken in 1886 in the Sierra Madre Mountains of Mexico just before Geronimo surrendered to General George Crook. Fly, most famous for his images of Geronimo and figures from the Wild West, began his career in San Francisco before moving to Tombstone, Arizona where he and his wife set up a studio and gallery.
