      The obverse with bust facing right, the legend inscribed "I[EAN] L[OUIS] A LAVALETA D[UX] ESPERN[ONIS] P[ROVINCIAE ET TOT[US]GAL[LIAE] PEDIT[ATUS] PRAEF[ECTUS] and signed "G. Dupre F 1607." The reverse an allegorical scene of a lion attacked by a fox and a Fury with torch, inscribed "INTACTUS UTRINQUE" (by either unharmed). Diameter 2 1/8 inches.
