      Built in 1829 by George and Ivory Lord of Kennebunk, Maine, the "Lima" served in coastal, Carribean and transatlantic trade. Watercolor on paper, 16 1/2 x 25 inches, sight. Signed and dated "Aristide Chapurot, Cette 1849," l.r. In a gilt period frame.Literature: A companion watercolor of the "Lima" leaving the port of Cette is illustrated in Brewington, "The Marine Paintings and Drawings in the Peabody Museum," p. 31, no. 121.
