        VERHAGEN, Hans (Dutch 1939 - 2020). Portrait of the writer Remco Campert, 1990. Oil on stiff paper, later signed and dated in felt pen 'Verhagen 90' (lower right). One small tear in the upper left corner and a larger one centre right closed with tape on the reverse, upper right corner slightly frayed, else in good condition.

        - CAMPERT, Remco (Dutch 1929). Ik voel me nog steeds erg droevig, c. 1950s. Drawing in ink, signed in ink 'Campert' (lower right) and inscribed with title in pencil (lower centre); under 2 passe-partouts. Stains of tape (in particular under passe-partout), some light creases, else good.

        - CAMPERT, Remco (Dutch 1929). Ten lessons with Timothy, 1950. Paris, privately published, 1950. 4to. Half cloth folder, manufactured by Simon Vinkenoog with typescript title label 'Ten Lessons with Timothy Remco Campert 1951' on the front cover. Vinkenoog removed the staples in the left margin of the fragile leaves and fixed them in a half-cloth pamphlet binder, signed in pencil 'Vinkenoog' on label "Pressboard Manufactured by Gaylord Bros. Inc., Syracuse N.Y./Stockton, Calif." (inner back cover). 14 leaves typescript (unfolded!) in purple, stencilled by Rudy Kousbroek in the offices of the UNESCO in Paris. Colophon text typescript: "Deze bundel is geinspireerd op de gelijknamige gramofoonplaat van Dizzy Gillespie." dit is No [filled in 'een'] Parijs, December 1950". Signed and numbered ('een') in red biro. With signed inscription in blue pen: "voor Simon Parijs 5 Januari 1950 (= 1951!)" (first endpaper). Signed again in black pen on title: "Den Haag 25 november 2011" on the occasion of the symposium ‘Remco Campert. 60 jaar dichter’ in the 'Letterkundig Museum Den Haag [which turned out to be the 61st anniversary of his writing career after legendary antiquarian bookseller Max Schuhmacher pointed at this copy of Campert's previously unrecorded debut]. Edges sl. browned, vague vertical folds first 2 pp., spine sl. worn, but overall in good condition.

Diptych, autograph poem, signed 'Remco Campert' (lower right), and drawing in coloured pencils by Hannes Postma, signed with initials 'HP' (lower right) and signed 'Hannes Postma' (lower left under the image), inscribed with title "Dat ik altijd zou leven in levende stilte" 'voor. "Lamento" van Remco Campert' numbered '18' (lower centre) and dated '16 augustus 1991' and inscribed 'blad 9' (lower right); framed next to each other in a hinged wooden box behind glass. Very good condition.
