The corners of the sheet are partly damaged, besides weak crease marks along the margins. Discolouration at the lower margin, blind stamp next to it. The image is not affected.

B. studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris among others under A. Cabanel. In 1900 he worked for the decoration of the World's Fair, in 1906 he also made designs for tapestries.
