Nardi Jewelry

Capturing the characteristic flair of “la dolce vita,” Nardi jewelry has been a beacon of Venice for close to a century and has been worn by some of history’s most stylish figures. Giulio Nardi’s first gioelleria opened its doors in the 1920s on the famous Piazza San Marco, in the heart of Venice and along the city’s most picturesque stretch of the Grand Canal. Inspired by the brilliant atmosphere of Venice, a mix of golden sunlight and reflective water, Nardi began by crafting elegant and ethereal designs that blended silver with crystals.

As his prestige grew, Nardi not only developed an international clientele but also expanded into increasingly luxurious materials, incorporating into his creations the goldsmithery for which the Venetians are renowned. Resulting were unique and unequivocally beautiful pieces, characteristics that became the hallmark of the jewelry design house.

Nardi’s workshop and boutique on the Piazza San Marco became a destination for royalty and celebrity alike over the years, with everyone from Grace Kelly to Marilyn Monroe paying him a visit. Devotés of his styles may also make a pilgrimage to his workshop in the lagoon city; for those simply wishing to cherish Nardi’s work, winning a vintage piece at auction might suffice.
