Louis Roederer Champagne

Dating back to 1776, this Champagne house in Reims, France was inherited by Louis Roederer in the 1830s and continues to carry his name. Its first name, before Roederer’s involvement, was Dubois Père & Fils. Production is quite extensive, with 3.5 million bottles on average and impressive worldwide distribution. The winery owns about two-thirds of the grapes it sources, with other grapes culled from the best Champagne vines in the region.

The Louis Roederer portfolio includes Brut Premier and Cristal. Cristal is the most luxury-minded wine in the collection. Annual production is around 300,000 to 400,000 bottles.

In addition to its original estate, Louis Roederer owns four estates in Bordeaux, France: Château Haut-Beausejour, Château de Pez, Château Bernadotte, and Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande. The company also owns Roederer Estate and Scharffenberger Cellars in California, Champagne Deutz, Ramos Pinot Port in Portugal, and Domaines Ott in Provence, France.
