The Siege of Gotha (Large Plate), etching, trimmed to plate margin, encroaching on border to left hand margin, 26.7 x 36.5cm (10.5 x 14.5ins), corner-mounted, together with Amman (Jost, 1539-1591). A collection of five military etchings, including 'various military ranks','the semicircular camp by a river', 'an army on the march with a burning castle', 'the entrenched camp', 'ballistic diagram', each hinge-mounted and captioned in pencil, to mount, 275 x 370mm (11 x 14.5ins) The first work formerly in the Drugulin Collection.
